When I was ready to take the fight to OCV they only had made through 7-8 sectors starting from their home sectors. And you really dont need to desable OCV if you play the game right. ![]() You are better off just picking up crates and abendoned ships. As I have said, buy UT and equip it and let it trade the whole day, then pull his trade report. Besides we are only talking the mid game of course end game you want SCH 400 profit making stations. And litcube the creator himself recommends having at least 50 UT. In my game i disabled the OCV till i can build some M2+. As a matter of fact, anybody that wants to argue this point I invite you to run UT for a day and then pull his trade report. Yes they will make you some credits but lets see them make you 120 Million in 20 minutes. As the landscape of this game is dynamic the longer the player plays the game the more likely features of this map will change due to random events/conflict. Map of X3: Albion Prelude at the start of the game. This you dont do in LU because OCV and Phenon will expend much quicker. In X3: Albion Prelude, ownerless ships exist as well, but their locations are randomly chosen in each game. Last modified by Daniel Turner on 5 17:25 Manage. Also, I don't like getting my combat rank up as Pirate destroyer invasions become more frequent (disrupting trade for my UTs). I only own an Albion Pride as a player ship. If anyone here is a pro with hundreds of hours on this game I could use some advice, or a point in the right direction.Ĭombat is not an option for me atm. The stock exchange is not an option, as it isn't no where near as exploitable as vanilla (it only shows company listings, NOT commodity shares). Everything in Litcube's universe is 10x as expensive and the game is pretty slow to me compared to vanilla. I want to be station-building oriented in terms of making credits, but I have no idea what stations I should build. The problem is, I'm getting tired with this method. ![]() I have a fairly large microchip complex (30), and a Mass Driver Forge (30) with a station agent after some hours collecting ships that bailed. Overall, the X games are quite flawed, but I still seem to get sucked in and dump in way more time than I should.Įdit: The performance of the Mac version is much worse than that of the Windows version, but it is playable (Mac Pro 1,1 Geforce 8800GT), you just need to turn down AA and AF and lower the render distance by one level.Hey guys, I recently just jumped back in X3AP and I'm having HUGE problems with making credits in Litcube's Mod. The controls are quite terrible, but everything can be remapped in settings. It is extremely important to try to dodge enemy fire, especially when going up against capital ships, as a single shot can completely tear through the shields of anything M3 or smaller. Semi shows you how much to lead enemy ships with weapons, while on allows the guns to slightly track, so you only need to be close to the target tracker. On the lower left of the screen, near weapon/energy information, there is a small box that says either off, semi, or on. The AI was fixed for missile platforms (M7M and M8) and they can now single-handedly wipe out entire fleets. If there are no missiles, I believe it will default to attack enemies, but missiles are given the highest priority. Always have at least one turret set to missile defense. I generally don't load freighters with weapons, but I'm pretty sure they all have rear turrets. I believe shields are automatically chosen from the freight bay. Weapons are loaded under the "advanced" ship menu sub-menu. That is where you load commands for your ship's turrets. Under the ship menu, there is a command console. It also doesn't really cover anything that you need to know other than flying and shooting.
